It recalls the suggestion of my assistant in the early eighties to rename the boat “”Vo on the rocks””. I shipwrecked at 4 a.m. on the island of Tago Mago near Ibiza. I have no energy yet to tell the whole story. I was laying ahull in another storm and the wind direction changed while I was asleep after 3 nights of storms and no AIS after all and no battery power to start the engine. Attempts to sail intoi anchorages-harbors failed several times and unable to call for assistance because of low power. I managed to climb on the rocks with laptop and wallet passport. One home on island has received me and I am wearing the lady”s clothes. The coast guard from Mallorca attempted to get me and take me to the main island of Ibiza but now will try again tomorrow if seas calm down. So, here is your opportunity I can be had for a song….
More pictures and stories of the sail from Frontignan in the next days. My laptop is not working yet. Charger left on the boat.
All in all. It could have turned out deadly. Thank the Lord. He has another plan for me. An I am already excited.
